Insights for Search, are you using this tool?

email

I am a fan of Google’s free tools. One of the tools Google has come out with is the new Insights for Search. Insights for Search helps corporations, small business, and bloggers.
Some features:

You can see which searches are popular and where

Target your search terms for a specific geographic market, or markets for places where your search term are doing well. The world map uses a graphical image to show you where people are searching using your search terms. It displays the volume of searches by region, sub region, and city.

You can choose the right marketing terms

You can compare search terms. You might, for example, be considering three separate keyword terms for your website. Google Insights can compare the three terms, not just in the past few days worth of searches, but over time. This is a great way to make the best choice

You can choose the timing of marketing campaigns

There are seasonal search terms. With the date information about your search terms you can see the peak time of the year is for searches. This lets you focus marketing efforts around those peak seasons, capturing as much of that seasonal search traffic as you can.

You can see a search term popularity

It looks at Google’s web searches. It compares how many searches have been done for search terms, and tells how popular that search is relative to other searches.

Show you changes in search popularity

Show you search terms popularity over time. Review your strategies to meet demand as time goes on.

Try Google Insights for Search and tell me your opinion!
